About Me

LITO PANCHO BAHIAN hails from Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte; born on November 3, 1981, married to Ms. Maria Celesty Esconde-Bahian of Tinotungan, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur and blessed with two children, Karla Nicole and Kristoffer Nikko. He holds his Doctor in Technology Education (DTE) major in Educational Technology at Mindanao University of Science and Technology (MUST), Cagayan de Oro City as a Financial Grantee of the Commission on Filipino Overseas (CFO) of the Exchange Visitor Program (EVP) of the Philippines under its Enhancement Training Sponsorship Program (ETSP). He also holds his two Master’s degree program, a Master of Arts in Instructional Design and Technology (MA IDT) at Cebu Normal University, Cebu City, the first online master degree program in ICT offered in the Philippines after Teacher’s College, Columbia University, New York in United States of America which he became the first two teacher-scholar grantees in the ARMM Region. The scholarship was sponsored by Microsoft Philippines under the auspices of Partners in Learning Philippines (PiL), Coalition for Better Education (CBE), Learn.ph Foundation and Cebu Normal University from May 2007 to March 2008 and a Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision (MA Ed) at the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography Graduate School, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi from November 2002 to April 2006. He obtained his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in General Science, cum laude at the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi as full academic scholar in 2002. Right after graduation, he worked in the MSU-TCTO Preparatory High School department as Faculty member handling Physics and T.L.E. subjects which the latter gives emphasis in computer literacy. Because of his dedication and commitment to work in ICT, he was a lead facilitator and lecturer in the AusAID Finance Project under the Basic Education Assistance in Mindanao (BEAM) - Accelerated Teacher Education Program (ATEP) for the Asatidz in Educational Technology under the partnership of MSU Tawi-Tawi in 2006. He was then a member of the Innovative Leadership Teachers Award (ITLA) funded and organized by Microsoft Philippines thru its Partners in Learning (PiL) Program and became a PiL Course Trainer for ICT Integration. He has also served as Faculty member in Tukuran Technical-Vocational High School for a year. He has been a TESDA Accredited holder of two National Certificates (NC II) in PC Operation and Computer Hardware Servicing in 2009, which the latter was a Pangulong Gloria Arroyo (PGA) Scholarship under TESDA and Pagadian Capitol College (PCC) as its lead institution. Equipped with the necessary ICT skills, he is the ICT/LIS/BEIS Coordinator, Programs and Events Organizer, Head Teacher I / OIC-Principal of Lantungan National High School and now Education Program Specialist II and Division SSES/STEM Coordinator at DepEd Division of Zamboanga del Sur.
